STATE PLAN FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING (SPIL)
PUBLIC COMMENT/HEARING PROTOCOL
- The Public Comment period for the Michigan State Plan for Independent Living, shall run from January 15, 2010 to June 1, 2010.
- SPIL Public Hearing is the opportunity to express a viewpoint, make a request, or educate the Council regarding the Michigan State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL).
- There is a (5) minute time limit set, unless waived by the Council Chair for making your comments.
- This is NOT an opportunity for dialogue or questions with the SILC Council.
- All comments (written or verbal) will be considered by the SPIL Writing Team for inclusion, deletion(s) or modification within 7 business days.
- Comments requiring responses or actions will be posted at www.michiganspil.org within 7 – 10 business days of the hearing.
- Public Comment period for the FY2011-2013 SPIL will close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010.
- Michigan’s State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) will be submitted to RSA no later than June 30, 2010.
